Here are some of the most frequently asked questions for new players starting their baseball journey:

 

 

Question: What are the season dates (Spring and Fall)?

Answer: The Spring season begins each year in February and runs until the end of April with a break in the middle during Broward Counties Spring Break.

 

Question: What are the registration dates for each season (Spring and Fall)?

Answer: Little League’s Spring season opens for registration October 1st and runs until November 31st and the Fall season opens June 1st and runs until July 31st.

 

Question: How do I register?

Answer: To register, visit www.parklandlittleleague.com and click the Register button in the upper right corner. (This button will appear only when registration is open).

 

Question: What is required for registration and the cost?

Answer: Registration is $225 per player.

 

Question: What are the age groups per division?

Answer: For Age and Division information click here

 

Question: What equipment is needed?

Answer: Baseball glove, helmet and USA approved bat (the bat must also say Tball on it).

 

Question: How do I volunteer as a coach?

Answer: We are always looking for parents who would like to be a head coach or assistant coach. During the registration process of your child you can register as a coach. 

 

Question: What days and times are games/practices?

Answer: While days and times can change week to week, there are usually 2 weekday events (game or practice) and 1 weekend day. During the week there are 2 time slots 5-6pm & 6-7pm. On the weekend they can run either 9-10am, 10-11am, 11-12pm.

 

Question: How long are the games and practices?

Answer: Games and practices are both an 1hr long. 

 

Question: Where are games and practices held?

Answer: Games and practices are held mostly at Pine Trails Park but a few practices are held at Terramar Park.
