T-Ball Building a Foundation for the Future

It's All About Having Fun!

T-ball rules are designed to be simple and beginner-friendly, helping young children learn the basics of baseball without the pressure of competition. Players hit the ball off a stationary tee and every child gets a turn at bat and play the field. The coach’s role is not just to manage the game, but to introduce the sport of baseball in a fun, supportive way. By focusing on teamwork, encouragement, and basic skills, coaches help build confidence and spark a love for baseball that can last a lifetime.

The rules for T-Ball include:
- Every player gets to bat each inning
- Every player gets to play the field each inning
- Players must use Little League Approved T-Ball bats

Duration of Games/Practices

Remember, Practice Makes Playful!

These are young kids who most likely have never played an organized sport before.

Practices & Games are limited to 60 minutes.

T-ball practices are less about competition and more about learning the basics in the most fun way possible. Coaches teach the fundamentals like how to hold a bat, which direction to run after hitting the ball, and how to field grounders.

There’s a lot of repetition and encouragement. To keep things engaging, coaches turn drills into games. Relay races around the bases, wiffle ball tosses for hand-eye coordination, or fielding contests. Everything in T-Ball is designed to build confidence and spark a love for the game.
