Seniors Baseball: The Big League Feel
Where Experience Meets Competition!
The Seniors Division is the final step in the Little League baseball journey and looks a lot like high school baseball. Games are played on a full-size field, the pace is faster, and players use advanced skills and strategy. While competition increases, the focus remains on development, teamwork, and enjoying the game as players prepare for the next level of baseball.
The rules for Seniors include:
- Big Field 90-foot bases and a full pitching distance.
- Older, More Competitive Play
- Seniors baseball closely mirrors high school rules and game flow.
Duration of Games/Practices
Remember, Practice Makes Playful!
These are young kids who most likely have never played an organized sport before.
Practices & Games are limited to 60 minutes.
T-ball practices are less about competition and more about learning the basics in the most fun way possible. Coaches teach the fundamentals like how to hold a bat, which direction to run after hitting the ball, and how to field grounders.
There’s a lot of repetition and encouragement. To keep things engaging, coaches turn drills into games. Relay races around the bases, wiffle ball tosses for hand-eye coordination, or fielding contests. Everything in T-Ball is designed to build confidence and spark a love for the game.
